Creative Week Cape Town

The Spier Arts Academy is recruiting for 2012.

Visit the Academy for a sneak peek of the mosaic studio and current art projects. School leavers who are eager to start their creative careers, as well as more experienced candidates wanting to broaden their artistic skillset are invited to attend the Academy Open Day on Tuesday 13 September 2011.

The Academy offers employment-based training in professional mosaic. Based in Cape Town’s East City Precinct, this three year, full-time apprenticeship focuses on mosaic art, and includes tuition in drawing, ceramics, art history and business skills. The course aims to equip apprentices with the necessary hard skills to enable them to jumpstart their creative careers and run their own successful enterprises.
